As theaters slowly begin to open around the globe and studios revisit their theatrical schedule, Paramount Pictures has announced a major shuffle in its lineup of upcoming films, including a bump up for the G.I. Joe spin-off prequel Snake Eyes, delays for the new Jackass, Top Gun and Mission: Impossible sequels and first dates for a number of other films!
Paramount did bring some exciting calendar additions for the next few years, one of which includes the Kenneth Branagh-helmed untitled Bee Gees biopic, which has been set for a November 4, 2022 release date, taking the place of the recently-delayed Mission: Impossible 8. Additionally, the new Star Trek film from Discovery writer Kalinda Vazquez has been set for a June 9, 2023 release, the film adaptation of The Shrinking of Treehorn has been set for a November 10, 2023 release and the Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski-led fantasy comedy, previously titled Imaginary Friends though now untitled, for a November 17, 2023 release.
